A: Hello, everybody. I’m Lisa.
B: I’m Cindy.
A: Today we’re going to talk about Artificial Intelligence, a kind of moderntechnology. Artificial means something manmade, something unnatural. And Intelligence implies that it thinks and acts logically. It's just an easy superficial definition. And the true definition of AI is much more complicated.
B: The concept of AI comes from the question “Can machines think?” raised by Alan Turing in 1950. Turing, known as the father of the theoretical Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, was a British pioneering computer scientist, mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher, and mathematical biologist. He was highly influential to the development of Computer Science.
A: His famous thesis “Computing Machinery and Intelligence” also played an important role in the development of Computer Science. I’ve read this paper before. But to be honest, I found it hard to understand clearly. So, please correct me if I’ve say something wrong. In this paper, he had talked about the famous and simple question “Can machines think?” and gave out an imitation game to help explain his idea. In my opinion, Turing used this game as an example to tell us that human can’t simulate computer. And similarly, when we play an imitation game, the best strategyfor the machine may possibly be something other than imitation of the behavior of a man and just think like humans.
B: Nowadays, there are a lot of things depends on AI principles. Game AI is one of the most widely used application. However, we’re not going to talk about game AI today. What we want to talk about is chatbot. Now, we want to show a chatbot that Hollis have done several days ago.

A: It’s cool, right? The chatbot made by a professional team can be much more powerful. You guys all know or at least have heard about SimSimi or Siri, right? They are chatbots, too. Unlike our chatbot, they have bigger database and strongerlearning ability. So, that’s the goal for the further development of our chatbot –gather more data and enhance its learning ability.
B: AI technology will be a strong competitor in future market. Some people may consider it dangerous, but this piece of technology is crucial to the future of everything. This technology can bring positive effects to our lives. Without it, we might spend much longer time to develop alternative technologies to achieve the same goal.
A: The world we live in is changing all the time. Every time when something new appears, people choose to reject it as new things stand for unknown, and unknown means it might be dangerous. However, new things will also draw the curiosity inside us. Since this tech will be the hottest trend in the future, why don’t we think about how to develop and control it instead of just being afraid of it?

I found that I may should not write a draft and just write some outline and details for that might be better. When we get to do the presentation, the atmosphere is very active. And my project is quite academic. Because I have already written the speech draft, my mind was being stuck and want to following the draft step by step. And after I finish the presentation, back to my chair, I found that I could add some activities such as asking classmates to simulate the imitation game in Turing's thesis. But I didn't think of it at the time when I'm doing thispresentation. My presentation might not be as well as I've imagined before, but I learn a lesson from this. Just make sure I know what I should do, and following my heart. Don't do anything that might makemy mind stuck.
