Thanks to Sherol
Sherol, our AIVD teacher. She's an interesting teacher and also brought us this amazing course.
She treats us more like friends. She talked with us about our interest and tried to understand what levels we have already reached. She used her Chinese to make joke with us.
She has also invited a lot of people who is kind famous in Game and AI to attend our class and give us a small lecture. I was very excited every morning at that moment. I've see some successful game engineer. And for me, I'm interesting in programming and sometimes I'll think about what kind of job I want to take in future. Now I think I found a job I'm interested in, an engineer.
Sherol asked us to do many projects these two weeks. Most of those projects are teamwork. In the past, I always write programs in language I familiar with and always thinks and writes on my own. But now, Ihave to work with my teammate. I didn't get used to do it at first. Gradually, I found the benefits of it. Sometimes teammates can help me to deal with something I can't work out by myself, and they always gives me a new idea. They makes me experience a different working style.
What she told me is more than skills, it's a kind of attitude. I might be a programmer in the future, and I might get another job. Different job and different future will need different ability. Programming skills might not be necessary. But the ability to communicate and cooperate is necessary no matter what kind of job we'll take in future and life we'll have in future.
And the party. It's really a new experince. When we go out with friend, we just go to some restaurant for lunch or dinner. We've never thought about just bringing out food cooked in home and sharing with others. I will try it with my friends next time.
